Lyman, Maine (July 6, 2025)- J Day Off-Road hosted round seven of the AMA East Regional Championship, sponsored by Fox Racing at MX207 in Lyman Maine on July 6th. As we are now halfway through the season points begin to start stacking up and meaning a little more. We are back with the dusty and dry conditions followed by some 90 plus degree heat. Spending Fourth of July weekend at 207 every year makes for some great racing.
Pro AA Holeshot led by FMF KTM rider Ben Kelley
WOMEN'S PRO/ AM - In Women’s Pro, Ruby Fustini (KTM) made her way back to J Day Off-Road since she took a break after round two due to a previous shoulder injury. Fustini made a great comeback, going 1-1 on the day, finishing 30 seconds ahead of Kayla O’Neil (Yamaha), who was second and currently leads the class.
Kendyl Geatani (KTM) rode her way out of the start grabbing the Fox racing holeshot which set her up for a great lead in Womens Amateur. Geatani finished moto 1 with an almost 4 minute lead on second place rider Mariah Hopkins. Allie Fusco rounded out the podium in 3rd.

FEATURED CLASS B250:
Dylan Conte (KTM) had two great motos leading every lap. Conte made big leads early into the motos while second overall Joshua Cavar (YAM) held down second place switching it up from 3rd to 2nd. Aj Bello, 3rd overall, swapped places with Sam Thompson who finished 4th on the day.
Amateur Overall:
The top amateur on the day was Matt Webb (Yamaha), who finished 13th overall and first in A 250, also grabbing the A overall trophy. Jonathan Alipio (KTM) finished 17th overall, winning A 200, and Patrick Gougeon, finishing 18th overall, was the A Open winner.

Pro 125 - With the start of the Moto Tassinari sponsored Pro 125 race, marked by the waving of the green Fox Racing flag, Ryan Amancio took the inside line while fellow Am Pro rider Brandon Gregoire opted for the outside, racing towards the largest jump on the track.
Gregoire surged ahead onto the moto track, maintaining the lead throughout the race and finishing 11 seconds in front of Justin Cokinos, Plaistow Powersports rider. Cokinos, who began moto 1 in 3rd place, finally overtook Amancio on lap 4.
Meanwhile, Beta Rider Brayden Nolette and Kyle Hangos from Plaistow Powersports exchanged positions throughout the moto, with Hangos securing 4th place and Nolette finishing in 5th.
In Moto 2, Kyle Rougeau achieved his first holeshot in the 125 class, earning the $100 Holeshot award. By the end of lap 1, Gregoire had quickly taken the lead, creating a steady gap over the second-place rider. He maintained his dominance, crossing the finish line in first with a lead of under a minute over Nolette.
Starting in 6th, Nolette skillfully navigated through the field to secure 2nd place. Cokinos and Hangos exchanged positions throughout the race, with Cokinos finishing in 3rd and Hangos in 4th. Amancio, after slipping from his earlier 2nd position on lap 2, ended up in 5th.
On the podium, Gregoire’s impressive 1-1 results earned him the overall victory, while Justin Cokinos' 2-3 finishes secured him 2nd overall. Brayden Nolette rounded out the top three with his 5-2 scores, taking home 3rd place.
AM Pro Racing Yamaha rider Brandon Gregoire wins Pro 125 Overall
Pro AA Overall winner Ben Kelley, Factory Red Bull FMF KTM rider
PRO AA- As the racers in the first Pro moto went off the line, Kelley found himself out front, grabbing the Fox Racing holeshot. However, he had troubles on the first lap and slipped back to sixth. Gregoire led the way as Kelley fought back up.
Gregoire went on to win the opening moto with a comfortable 29-second lead over Kelley, who fought his way up through the pack in the dust. Beta Factory Support rider Brayden Nolette had a second-place start, which led him to a third-place finish. Ryan Amancio battled his way past Plaistow Powersports rider Justin Cokinos, who rode in second for two laps but dropped back to fifth, where he would finish behind Amancio. Jiggs Fustini was sixth.
In moto two, Kelley was out front with the holeshot, setting himself up for a good lead into the race. As the race progressed, the dust became unbearable in the woods and on the track.
Gregoire had the track and woods dialed, as he passed Kelley on the first lap and stayed in the lead for two laps. On lap three, Kelley made a pass on Gregoire and finished the lap with 10 seconds on him after the Yamaha crashed in the woods. Kelley ended up finishing out the moto in first place, with a 59-second lead over Gregoire, and winning the overall.
Nolette sat in a comfortable third in the second moto, with Fustini holding down fourth. Amancio was just five seconds back in fifth. Cokinos had some troubles in the second moto, as he raced four motos in a day, struggling with muscle cramps.
On the podium, Kelley’s 2-1 scores landed him the Pro AA overall, Gregoire’s 1-2 scores landed him second, and Nolette’s 3-3 scores rounded out the podium.
