INTERVIEW - After his race at Dozer, we caught up with Sebastian Tucker from Plaistow Powersports. He competes in the Mini Senior (12-15) class on his yz 85, as he proudly pushes on after winning the Mini B championship in 2024 two races early! This weekend, he finished with a solid 2-2 at the second round of the season.
What was your favorite part of the race, and why?
My favorite part of the race this weekend was the extreme section because it was a new and fun challenge to take on with it being bigger and more diverse.
Did you face any tough moments during the race, and how did you handle them?
During my race I faced a few tough moments like having my front tire slide out and twisting my bars I could only handle it by trying to keep a steady pace and stay off the ground but it was hard to manage with other racers catching up.
If you could change one thing about your race, what would it be?
If I could change something about my race I would have changed the way I approached my second moto by bringing something to cool me down at the start and I would’ve talked with my dad to make different suspension adjustments to help my bike handle the tough terrain.
