2026 J DAY OFF ROAD CHAMPIONSHIP STACYC RULE BOOK
Safety
Off road motorcycle racing is a dangerous sport, and the decision to attend any pre-organized J Day Off Road Stacyc Event is 100% voluntary and absolutely under NO circumstance shall any participant, spectator, vendor, or guest file any claim for reparation, financial loss, personal injury or death against J Day Off Road.
Safety Equipment - It is the participant’s responsibility to wear all the proper safety gear during Competition
Helmet– All riders must wear a safety helmet at all times during the ride
Shoes – All riders must wear closed toed, non-slip-on shoes
General Rules
There will be awards/prizes/bottle popping for the TOP 3 in each class! (Podium Celebration)
Top 10 will receive plaques for each class
MEMBERSHIPS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL STACYC RACERS. (AMA Membership NOT required for STACYC competitors.)
ALL riders will receive a medal after the ride!
A parent or guardian MUST be present at all times during the ride
Parents or guardians are able to go onto the track only to assist a rider during the ride
Each class races for 15 minutes (EACH CLASS RACES INDIVIDUALLY)

Class Breakdown
Open Class (Any age under 12) - Must be 2 years old as of January 1st, 2025 and must not have turned 12 years old before
January 1st, 2026. Any Bike is acceptable
16e Class (Ages 7 & under) - Must be at least 2 years old as of January 1st, 2026 and must not have turned 7 years old before
January 1st, 2026. Wheel size of bike must be 16”.
12e Class (Ages 5 & under) - Must be at least 2 years old as of January 1st, 2026 and must not have turned 5 years old before
January 1st, 2026. Wheel size of bike must be 12”.
Strider Class (Any Age)
Format / Layout - The track will consist of:
Small Dirt Track
Wide Turns
Occasional Tiny Hill
Small Roller Jumps
Ride Fee
The ride fee is $30.00 per rider.
Transponder for the season is $10.00 (Good for whole season)
Yearly Membership - $40.00
